Heaven and Hell

Heaven

Heaen is the eternal home of God, the home of the blessed the definitive of happiness adn the goal of many humans. Once their Heaven is populated by Angels who serve their Lord for eternity. It exists in many forms and religions across the world and has gone by different names over time including Valhala. It is the eternal life after life. The inhabitants, the Angels and God are the ones that achieve peace.

Angels

Angels are different to how we know them. They have wings and can fly but otherwise look like normal human beings. They have the ability to camouflage to look like a human so they can travel amongst them as needed. This is extremely rare and when it does occur it is only the Powerful Angels, the ones that are most trust that are given permission to do so. Angels like Michael and Gabriel. It takes at least 300 years to receive this permission for safety reasons. After all Angels cannot be recognised by people on Earth.

Angels have very strict rules and regulations of how they should behave. They are to protect humanity and all that it stands for without getting involved. They are the 'good' of the world and need to ensure that nothing evil happens. When it does they have to counteract it... without getting too involved. It takes many centuries for an Angel to be allowed to do this by themselves as it takes great skill. Until then all Angels work with another one to learn how they are to do things.

God
God is the surpreme ruler of the Heaven, the person who created the world, heaven and the first Angels. He is the one who decides who is good enough to join his ranks and who doesn't. He is the 'king' of Lightness and the one who can change things at a flick of a finger essentially. He is supposedly in control of people's fates, dictating what they can and cannot do.

Hell
Hell is in the fiery centre of Earth where no man has travelled before. It is made up of mountainous caves and apart from the fires that roar all around it is dark and gloomy. The fire is molten fire from the Earth's core that all Demon's are immune to.

Demons
Demons are the inhabitants of hell and are made up of two kind - the fallen angels or the ones God has rejected from entering Heaven. The first kind are the Angels that have sinned against god by participating in evil actions or refusing to accept his reign. They have been sent to hell as punishment for their actions. Satan was the first of these such Demons, the first Demon in fact. The latter kind are the murders, the sinners in Human life who are so bad that God sees no hope for them, sending them down to Satan to do what he desires with him.

Cambions

They're complicated.

Cambions are the children of Sex Demons, sired with humans in the hope of forming an army on earth (originally just because it was the only way for demons to reproduce, but it turned out to be useful. They are half-human/half-demon, however the process can be complicated. Humans have recorded in their myths that demons require human aid to reproduce - this, they do not realise, becomes less accurate with aging and power (and sometimes, both together). The complicated way, the one most sex demons have to live with, requires that a Succubus - a female sex demon - sleep with a male human. She collects his sperm inside herself and then sleeps with a male sex demon - an Incubus - and he, in turn, sleeps with a female human: impregnating her. In this case the child has four parents. It is also worth noting that the human parents were probably asleep when it happened and have most likely never met (who can resist the urge to cause marital strife, after all?). A older or/and more powerful Incubus/Sucubus may impregnate/be impregnated by a single human partner, Merlin (yes, King Arthur's Merlin) was one of these.

Cambions are born normally and appear fully human except they have no pulse or breath. They continue to appear human until about the age of seven years, after which they begin showing their demonic origins more overtly. The typical cambion is cunning and evil, with a beautiful, alluring appearance and ability to control other people. However, this is another human error, as this is common but not definite or even highly probable among Cambion. Some may be perfectly nice people, who just want to help (Merlin was one of these too), however they are all powerful (again, like Merlin - although he was an extreme, power wise). Unknown to humans, it is entirely possible for a Cambion to experience a second 'puberty' somewhere in their early twenties and become a fully fledged sex demon (of the appropriate gender), but this is basically a 50/50 chance.
